Jason Spoolstra is the Associate Director for the office of Marriage and Family in the Diocese of Columbus. His professional career spans over sixteen years and five dioceses in Youth Ministry, Campus Ministry, Faith formation and Young Adult Ministry. Most recently, Jason worked as the Director of Pilgrimage for the Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine in the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City.

As the author of the YouTube channel Light and Heavy, Jason chronicles his passion for pilgrimages. He is the co-founder of Link to Liturgy, a parish resource devoted to the Sacred Liturgy. Through Link to Liturgy, he has also authored Sacramental Preparation books for Baptism,

Confirmation, and Holy Eucharist as well as a prayer book for families.

With his wife of fourteen years, Rebecca, Jason has 7 children, Clare, Catherine, Elizabeth and Gregory as well as three in heaven due to miscarriage: Helen, Michael, Margaret.
