Maintenance & Events Coordinator

St. Catharine is seeking a Maintenance & Events Coordinator to help us steward our parish and school campus so it can remain a place of encounter with Christ. This role serves our community in practical yet deeply meaningful ways, supporting worship, formation, and fellowship. Some evening/weekend flexibility is needed.

Accounting Specialist

Perform various duties in the area of cash disbursements and cash receipts, including the processing of checks and cash for deposit and entering deposits into QuickBooks. Miscellaneous balancing and processing duties and entry of giving data into parish database. The position is expected to use personal judgment in carrying out routine duties and responsibilities.

St. Catharine Preschool

Pre-K Teacher


Job Description: An early childhood professional working in collaboration with another teacher to create a successful learning environment for children 2 1/2 to 5 years old. A Preschool Teacher will be responsible for the following:


Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of a group of children in a school setting.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment following all State Licensing, Ohio Department of Education, and Diocese of Columbus requirements.
  • Establish and maintain positive and productive relationships with children and families.
  • Incorporate the Creative Curriculum and Ohio Early Learning and Development Standards into their curriculum and assessment.
  • Observe and evaluate each child’s progress throughout the year and provide information about each child to parents during conferences twice a year.
  • Maintain a clean and clutter free classroom and center environment.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings and in-service training.
  • Demonstrate a high level of professional and ethical behavior that includes appropriate interactions with students, parents and other staff.
  • All other duties as necessary for creating a successful preschool program.
  • Be available to work between the hours of 7am-1:00pm


Qualifications:

  • Preschool Teachers will have a minimum of High School Diploma and 2 years experience working with young children
  • Have attended or willing to attend VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children Safe Environment Class.
  • Satisfactory completion of BCI and FBI background check.
  • Have or willing to attend CPR/First Aid, Communicable Disease and Child Abuse and Neglect


Salary/Benefits:

  • Compensation is based on experience and educational background.
