At St. Catharine Church, we believe life is meant to be lived in community. Our small groups provide welcoming spaces where you can build meaningful relationships, explore faith in everyday life, and take your next step with Jesus together.

What are Small Groups?

These are gatherings of 6-12 people who meet regularly—often weekly or bi-weekly—to share life and faith in a more intimate setting. A small group is not just another meeting—it’s a place where you can belong.

In a small group you can expect:

• Relationships – connect with people who care about you.
• Faith-Conversation – ask questions, share doubts, and grow in trust.
• Prayer & Support – life’s challenges are easier when we face them together.
• Service & Mission – we live our faith by serving both one another and our wider community.

Why Join a Small Group?

• You’ll be known, not just seen. Big gatherings can feel anonymous; small groups give you a place where your story matters.
• You’ll grow in faith for real life. It’s more than Sunday—it’s about Monday through Saturday: work, family, challenges, joys, questions.
• You’ll find your people. Whether you’re new to church, long-time Catholic, young adult, parent, retiree—there’s a group where you fit.
• You’ll contribute. Small groups aren’t just for receiving—they’re for giving your gifts, your time, your compassion.

What to Expect

• A warm welcome: coffee, snacks, or simply comfortable conversation.
• A time of reflection: often around a short scripture, topic, or question.
• A chance to share life: good things, hard things, hopes, and prayers.
• Duration: typically 90-120 minutes.
• Location: often someone’s home, or a parish meeting room, or even virtually as needed.

At St. Catharine, we’re not meant to walk alone. We’re meant to gather, pray, learn, serve—and in the process, discover who we are in Christ and who we’re becoming.

Advent Small Groups will begin the 1st Week of Advent and run for 3-4 weeks, depending on the group.
